About SSE Airtricity
Operating since 2009 SSE Airtricity is one of the largest suppliers of electricity and gas in Ireland, as well as a major generator of renewable energy from wind power.
SSE Airtricity a diverse range of market sectors and applications including the industrial, commercial, domestic, catering, agricultural and automotive markets.
The company SSE Renewables wholly or partially owns 31 onshore wind farms with a combined output of 700MW including some of the largest onshore wind farms on the island.
These include the 174MW Galway Wind Park in Connemara and the 73MW Slieve Kirk Wind Park outside Derry City, with more in the pipeline.
Today SSE Airtricity supplies over 460,000 electricity customers and almost 310,000 gas customers across the island of Ireland.
